On the 23rd December I held a 'Charity Christmas Party' to raise money for my nominated Charity 'BLISS' for babies born too soon, too small, too sick. After having our son prematurely, two and a half years ago in 2010, 'BLISS' Charity is very close to my heart. Our son, Malikai was born at 24 weeks and soldiered on for 4 weeks but sadly passed away. The party was a great success and thanks to everyone who came and donated! Next year will be bigger and better, just needed to get a grip on it, before I opened it up to everyone. So watch this space! £110 of the donations came from the 'Herga Folk Group' who sung Carol's in the bar next door. They generously donated their funds to 'BLISS'. £62.50 (including gift aid) was donated via virgin money giving Raising a total of £500 A huge Thank you!
